Twenty-sixteen was my first full year in the Classics Club challenge, and I'm off to a good start. Virtually everything came from my American Lit and English Lit specials in April, June, and July, though.

I don't have a specific plan for 2017. While I'd like to proceed chronologically from this point (and I have The Histories checked out), in truth I will probably read randomly from my list.
I'm going to try to read more classics in 2017. I even have a ten stacker waiting - in chronological order even! Most of them are American classics. There will be a few more scattered throughout various 10 book groups as well. All part of my 'plan' to become (or at least feel) better read - whatever that means!
ReplyDeleteShould be interesting to see a take on American lit from across the pond!
ReplyDeleteStephen,
ReplyDeleteA great list from 2016. May 2017 be as delightful.
