Teaser Tuesday (6 October)

Teaser Tuesday!

Let's go for a ride, big guy, Christine seemed to whisper in the summer silence of LeBay's garage. Let's cruise. And just for a moment it seemed that everything changed.

(p. 32, Christine. Stephen King.)

  1. Isn't this the book with the demonic car? I haven't read Stephen King for forever but he sure does write a good horror story. Great teaser this week!!

  7. I haven't read this book AGES!! I actually first read it when I was a pre-teen (definitely not something I probably should have grabbed at the library). But I actually really liked the book. The last time I read it, I actually wasn't that crazy about it.... but I like other books by Stephen King.

  8. @ BookishSnob: It is indeed!

@ Bev Hankins: I sympathize. Horror's usually not a genre I frequent, but it's October so I figured I'd dive in.

@ Coffee and a Book Chick: I started watching the movie last night; it seemed kinda...hammy. I'm enjoying it, mostly for the exaggerated acting.

  9. Great teaser! I've been reading King's The Dark Half and enjoying it, although I keep getting sidetracked by other things. Might have to add Christine to my list for this fall, too.
