Immoderate Literati
This is a screencap I took back in May, something I spotted while reading reviews of Wilbur Smith's River Gods. At least no one is ambivalent about it!
Thank you for visiting! Because of some very clever spambots, I've had to start moderating comments more strictly, but they're approved throughout the day.
i tried a wilbur smith once; i tend to agree with the fire thing after the first page...
ReplyDeleteOnly read one of Smith's (ages ago) - I think it was about the Italian's in Libya. Although I was a teenager back then I remember really enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteDo you think writing teachers might find this work a useful example?
ReplyDeleteI've never read it myself, but it certainly seems a lesson in taking reviews with a grain of salt!
