What I liked most about the Holmes character is his unbending dedication to deductive reasoning and his amazing ability to *see* things that other people failed to notice. I try to emulate both of these skills and like to think that I live with my eyes at least half open most of the time - unlike the people I see around me who, mostly, appear to notice almost nothing at all. I have a few books on him in my 'must buy soon' list.CyberKittenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06394155516712665665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-980951139270141970.post-58935532460521121522011-10-17T19:24:14.061-05:002011-10-17T19:24:14.061-05:00Do you have a favorite story?Do you have a favorite story?Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15097908023032528200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-980951139270141970.post-89281130934812025822011-10-17T15:44:52.247-05:002011-10-17T15:44:52.247-05:00Holmes is one of my personal heroes. As a youth it took me a little while to get used to the late Victorian language but once I did it was a breeze.CyberKittenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06394155516712665665noreply@blogger.com
